REVLON So Fierce! Big Bad Lash Mascara One of the best mascaras I've tried so far, though it is a regular formula and it of course doesn't hold my lashes curled like a waterproof one, but it makes them look pretty. Mine grow criss-cross, so even if a mascara is defining, it often can't fan them out nicely and there are still visible slits after application, but this one sets them in their place, every lash is defined, with more coats it doesn't start to stick them together, it gives a lot of length and volume. This formula leaves the lashes still soft even with two-three coats. I'd love to have a waterproof formula, I have the Volumazing one, which is great, but I like the brush on this one more. It also claims to tint the lashes black with frequent use, which might be interesting to blondes. PUPA Vamp! Mascaras I have this in three colours: black, dark green and blue (I only put one on the picture, but I posted about these on IG Stories ). This formula is pretty m...

L'Oreal Infallible 24H Fresh Wear Foundation

Image
I had the Matte version of Infallible that came in a tube and it was the best foundation for oily skin I've tried with an impressive blurring effect (hid pores like nothing I've ever tried), but it became too dry for my skin type. Currently it's the powder from this line that has all the glory, but there are some positive reviews about this too that I've seen in the last year. Now that I've tried it, I came to a conclusion that it's a nice foundation, it's just really not for best suited for my skin type.  Texture: this is a very light, liquid formula that is similar to Catrice's HD Liquid Coverage foundation, though it's not as watery and is a touch creamier at application. It's easy to apply and blend, which now that I've been using it for a while, I find surprising, because I know how matte it is when it sets, but with this one you have time to blend it in and though it's thin, it doesn't dry too fast. It blends seamlessly at th...

COLOURPOP Pressed Powder Palett e  Going Coconuts and That's Taupe Colourpop eyeshadow palettes have been on my wishlist for years, as they are highly praised, but for a long time they stuck to their warm palettes despite their many launches. In the last years, they made these two that are more up to my taste, especially That's Taupe. I've tried their Super Shock single eyeshadows , which didn't not impress me as much as I hoped and I have to say that same goes for these palettes. They are nice, they're just not amazing. Quality of eyeshadows largely varies, but Going Coconuts is overall better - it is however, warmer when swatched than what you see in the pans.  That's Taupe is a collection of matte taupes and shimmery metallic shades. Mattes outperform the shimmers, since they are all nicely pigmented and smooth, however, I find they are not as quick and easy to blend. Shimmers are a mixed bag, with Constrictor in the bottom row being the best performing and w...

Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream RX SPF 42 PA+++

Image
It's hard for me to find a real BB/CC cream, so something has truly has the high SPF + skin care ingredients + coverage, not because there are few, but because so many don't come in very pale shades - plus Western formulas tend have a SPF I consider low (under 25) or just don't have it. I used to have Missha's Signature version , which is nice and I was considering repurchasing it, but I wasn't fond of the fact it sets so slowly on my skin and has a greasy feeling to the touch despite being light (my skin was different back then, normal-combination vs. dry like now). I liked the pale shade of Signature called #13, even though it is somewhat grey. Original Perfect Cover is one of the most popular BB creams and you can get it quite cheap, but mineral oil in it scares me a bit, since this ingredient tends to break me out, so I was immediately intrigued by this one, which is fairly new. I believe it was released only last year and they switched shade #13 for the new #17...
