L'OREAL PARIS Colour Riche Les Nus Intense Lipstick 173 Nu Impertinent  The moment I used it I loved the formula. It just feels so nice, high-end and well done. It's comfortable, smooth and has great pigmentation, plus it lasts well, but even so the colour is close to my natural lips that the fading it not obvious. 173 Nu Impertinent is about a half a shade lighter than my favourite lip liner Essence's Big Proposal , which I've been using for shaping my lips for a few years now, so this is great colour for defining and for a non-makeup makeup look. Finish is satin-creamy and this formula suits dry lips as well.  PHYSICIANS FORMULA Rosé All Day Set & Glow Illuminating Powder & Dewy Balm Luminous Light I have a couple of powders that are described by most as blurring and Photoshop filter in a pan, but I was disappointed by the expensive Hourglass one and somewhat underwhelmed by the Wet n Wild one . This (so far) seems like the real deal. It's made from two p...

Milani Bold Color Statement Matte Lipstick

Image
I own two Colour Statement matte lipsticks , which are in a gold packaging that I got years ago and I featured them in several favourites posts in the past (now I stopped using since they are quite old). The launch of these Bold ones passed me by and I had no idea this line exists too. I don't think I see much of a difference between the two formulas, which means both are great. Formula and finish: My Color Statement Matte lipsticks are old, so they are drier now, but if I remember correctly when they were new, these two formulas are very similar. It's a formula that despite being matte glides easily on the lips, feels light and isn't immediately dry. At the time I tried Color Statement the first time this type of formula was really something new to me, but by now most matte lipsticks are like that or better. It has a nice velvety finish, so the type that's common at classic lipsticks that are described as matte and not the full on matte one like liquid lipsticks have...

Milani Conceal + Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation + Concealer 00A Porcelain

Image
There already is an old review for this foundation on this blog, but it's for the original "lightest" shade 01 Creamy Vanilla that I got years ago and I fell in love with the formula, but that shade is so dark and yellow. Milani then expanded their shade range a couple of times (at least) and in one of their releases they added 00A, which I got online without testing it and luckily it suits me perfectly. I've had the draft for this review for years, so the pictures are old and I actually don't use this foundation currently because the pump on mine broke and I haven't bought a new bottle yet, but since I've just posted about the concealer with the same name and we got this brand here in some Slovene DMs, here is the review with the shade that fits me. I used to consider it my favourite higher coverage foundation and maybe I still do, but my formula went off after the pump broke, so my last uses weren't as nice and I likely forgot how good it was (now ...

Milani Conceal + Perfect Longwear Concealer

Image
A while ago we got Milani in DM, but it's only is some shops. This brand used to be sold in Slovene online shops, so I own several products and am a fan of the brand, including the Conceal + Perfect foundation that for a long time was my favourite, but then the pump broke when I used up only a half and the formula went off because I was always opening the bottle. Milani also has shades that are light enough for me and they are selling them here too, which is a minor miracle. It's exactly the type of concealer that are most popular - high coverage in a liquid form and matte on the skin. Texture, coverage & finish: Conceal + Perfect concealer is a thick, medium-high coverage formula with a satin matte finish or very matte finish on my dry winter skin. I've tried it all over the face, the way I always test concealers and it looked too obvious for my taste, but it covers a lot, so I pick this up when my circles are extra bad and when I have spots. It creases under my eyes ...
